William Henry Lewis is named to Walter Camp’s collegiate All-American football team.

The first African-American named to the collegiate All-American football team, he is a student at Harvard Law School. Lewis was born and grew up in Virginia and attended Amherst College as an undergraduate. He is also named to the All-American team in 1893.
